Gap is too large between amounts of loans

In my opinion, this book is worthless, and I am surprised at the positive reviews. There is an unreasonably large gap between amounts, and this makes it of little or no value unless you happen to have a loan of exactly the "right" amount. For example, it jumps from $5,000 to $10,000. Worse (if you are buying a home), it jumps from $50,000 to $100,000. What about the $50,000 that is ignored? This book is going in the trash because it is not worth the cost of postage to send it back.
I can recommend two other books of amortization tables that are much more comprehensive (and the print is even more readable)--that is, Barron's Financial Tables for Better Money Management: Mortgage Payments (Solomon, Marshall and Pepper) and Monthly Interest Amortization Tables (Sherman, Contemporary Books).

McGraw-Hill's Interest Amortization Tables, Third Edition This handy little book arrived quickly. It is much easier to get an estimate for payments than using a calculator. I keep one at my house and one in my car and one at the office.

I misplaced the book I had for years and purchased this to replace it. A very concise guide to payments based on percentage rates. I use this reference for any payment plans I have to keep up with long term finances. A great reference book to have.
